We are an experienced family business providing Marquee hire in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

We largely supply weddings, but we also hire our tents to all sorts of other events from garden parties to large corporate events. Our structures have also featured in a range of TV and Film work, as well as providing an event space for a Royal visit!

Bell Tent Hire: If you are looking for single bell tent hire or multiple for a camping village, we have what you need. We want to make things easy for you when it comes to Bell Tent hire, so we have a great system in place so your guests can book directly with us. Full Setup and Dismantle: This goes without saying, but we offer full setup and dismantle, ensuring that your event runs seamlessly from start to finish. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy your special day while we take care of the logistics. We work with you on timings so that you have the yurt or marquee in place ready for yourselves or other suppliers to add finishing touches. Event Planning and Design: Even though we don’t do this in house we work closely with a number of experienced professionals who specialise in outdoor weddings and events. This can be tailored to as much or as little help as you need. From virtual hand holding or styling to full planning and coordination. Decor and Furnishing: We want to make things easy for you by offering furnishing options as well as extras such as lighting, fire bowls, walkways, chill out furnishings and garden games. All allowing you to create the perfect atmosphere for your guests. Funky Monkey Tents was born over 12 years ago by us, Mark and Hannah Squires. Even though we are well established professionals within the industry we remain a small family business with a personal service at the heart of everything we do.

Environmental issues are a key driver in how we run our business. Everything is considered carefully for its sustainability and we are continually striving to improve. We have a full environmental policy and regularly complete impact assessments so that words are put into practice.
We occasionally travel further, but largely serve Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

Terminology - There are a lot of different styles of tent out there. We have a varied selection so that we can help as many of you lovely people as possible. It has become fairly normal for anything other than a Marquee to be called a Teepee. Now although this isn't technically correct we understand that it can be confusing. This very business of ours started with a single Teepee which we hired to friends and neighbours. The whole wedding industry was crying out for something new that couples could express themselves in a more personal way. Teepee hire really started to take off and businesses have popped up all over the country to meet with demand. So why don't we have Large Event Teepees? Well, for a number of reasons...as much as we like them there are lots of companies out there supplying them. We decided to concentrate on Yurts as our flagship structure. We spent a long time researching them and finding the right manufacturer. Yurts fitted with our ecological ethos and the materials used in making them, we felt were more sustainable than the Teepees, which were available for wedding and event hire. We certainly aren't knocking Event Teepees, we just love our traditional canvas Teepee. Although smaller it is still a great addition to any wedding or celebration. So Let's Start Planning!
